Salsa Pittsburgh's Salsa Spooktacular
October 31 - November 2, 2008

Plans are now finalized for Salsa Pittsburgh's Salsa Spooktacular featuring Edie the Salsa Freak from Miami, and Joe Figueroa from Philadelphia.  Halloween Costume Party and Performance at the Palisades Ballroom on Friday, October 31; Saturday, November 1 dance at The Cabaret at Theater Square (downtown).  Partnerwork, Bachata, and Spinning workshops on Saturday; special six-hour Styling/Musicality Bootcamp on Sunday.  Workshops will be at the Wightman School Community Building in Squirrel Hill.  Farewell to end the weekend at the Edgewood Club's dance on Sunday, November 2.

Local band, Azucar plays on a weekly basis.  Dance instruction from 8:00-9:00 pm by Kristen Licht; Azucar plays from 9:00 pm-1:00 am.  DJ Marlon Silva will play between sets.  $10 cover includes lesson; $8.00 cover after 9:00 pm (when the lesson is over)
