He lived in England for 15 years, now living in
Amman, Jordan since March 1998.
|
|
He learned Salsa with top Manchester and London instructors. He traveled to HAVANA, CUBA
in 1998 to learn the Cuban Folklore style of dancing, attending intensive dance
courses at the school of Arts in Havana. He started teaching in Amman in April 1998.
In February 2000, Rio just passed the British exam organised by the UKA (United Kingdom
Alliance) Dance, Drama and Excercise Ltd. He qualified as a salsa teacher.

instructor, teaches Salsa and Meringue styling and choreography, Modern Jazz, Tap dancing, Mime expression and Modeling.

Jane -Ann appeared on TV and Theatre, she choreographed many
fashion, theatre and dance shows in Europe. |

Learnt Salsa with Rio. He works
full time at Salsera Studio and helps Rio in teaching Salsa. He is a good teacher and
dancer. Rio met him in October 1998, Rio was impressed by the way Lobo danced Caucazian
folklore. Rio asked Lobo to come to Salsera Studios to show him what Salsa is all about ,
Lobo never heard of Salsa before, but when he saw the dance he felt in love with it. |

Unfortunately there are no Salsa Clubs yet, Rio usually
arranges Salsa nights at Etab
Disco, and JJ's Disco at Hayatt Hotel/Amman. The DJ's
at these clubs play Salsa Music if asked. At JJ's a cuban band
is playing Latin Music for the month of February and March 2000. |

Salsa Music is played once/twice a week at Jordan
English Radio on FM 963 by top Salsa Radio DJ Miss Rula Malky. |
