Mystique Night Club Review

The club usually has a different school teaching every Thursday, when we went to do the review Salsa Fever Studios was there teaching the class for the night.  If you notice to the left there is a wall right next to the dance floor, that's a construction set up while they were remodeling the stage to change the floor from carpet to wood floor!, the funny thing was the whole stuff was dressed up as construction workers & the club had the yellow construction banners all over the place, that was a cool set up for a couple days! great way to deal with the adversity!

Here we are, some of the salsaweb team members doing our terrible job!!, going dancing & doing the review of the clubs... anyway from right to left; Myriam Rojas from The Mambo Room, Vivian's smile in the middle from Salsa Fever Studios (sorry Vivian about this picture, but @ least we can appreciate your great smile! & last but not least, me Araceli from Hot Salsa Dance Company & the 3 of us members of the South Florida Team!

Here is Vivian with a very sexy man, Jerry!

What a great picture from salseros in the club Mystique, you can sense a family kind of atmosphere, which is great to feel comfortable in a club, can you see that love is in the air in some of these faces, can you spot the salsa couples?

This is the funniest picture of all, look @ our faces!! all of us had a bad eye, or a crazy look, no eyes, missing teeth kind of look (I can assure you all of us don't look like that in person), Tony, Myriam, Mick, Jami, Mike, Araceli & ? again I'm missing some names, please forward them to me...

Our instructor of the night that Thursday was the director from Salsa Fever Studios Erik Suarez, here posing for our salsaweb camera, sorry about the eye...

Salsaweb Team individual Review...

Araceli's Review on Mystic's!

When I used to come on vacations to Miami, the only place I heard to go to for good salsa and casino-rueda dancers was Mystic's & I see why it is such a famous club out of Miami.  The atmosphere is a friendly & at the same time care free, you can dance you salsa moves anywhere in the club & everybody would be ok with that.  On top of everything they give you a free casino-salsa class!, so that the out towners can see what Miami is about, even though there are some salseros (like myself) that dances on 2 mambo style & L.A. style.  Miami casino-salseros are  already opening their mind to other styles, so that's really good for salsa in general. In one word Mystic's in one of my favorite salsa clubs!

Jami's review on Mystic's!

When I first moved to Florida my first question was "Where do all the
instructors hang and dance....well now I know Mystic is the place...having been there several times it is one of the places that you see everyone hanging out. The music's good and their is even a few mambo "ON2" dancers that hang their as well. Thursday nights are my favorite and each week Salsa United has a different school that gets up to teach a free casino class and when Ramani's in town you know it's going to be a good rueda with lots of fun calls. I definately recommend this club to anyone who is traveling into town and wants to dance with the Miami Crowd!
