Born and raised in Spain, Susana began dancing at the age of five. After a formal training in ballet and flamenco, Susana broadened her dancing profile to include contemporary, jazz and Afro-Cuban dance. 

On moving to London Susana began learning salsa. Her dance background combined with over 15 years teaching experience has helped her become one of the UK’s premier dancers and teachers.  

Twice British Salsa Champion (UK Champion 1998 and winner of UK Bacardi Championship 2000), Susana has also been voted the UK’s Best Female Teacher and in 2000 was awarded a special award for her Outstanding Contribution to UK Salsa.
