Rafael danced
professionally in Colombia for ten years. He's been teaching in the US since
1996. He's danced for Poncho Sanchez, Manuel
Molina, Jazz Aspen and more. He is co-director of Salsa Caliente Dance
Company, which has performed in both the West Coast Salsa Congress in LA
and the World Salsa Congreso in Puerto Rico with her dance group he
co-directs with Barbie Novoryta, Salsa
Caliente.

debaile to her classroom. She creates a non-threatening atmosphere with lots of sincere

Barbie has been dancing Salsa since 1990 and teaching since 1996. She
has performed at various events including
the Latino International Film Festival in Denver, with Poncho Sanchez, Tony
Vega, Jazz Aspen, Colorado Latino Dance Festival and more. She created
Cardio Caribe Dance Fitness class in 1997 and her class was voted Best of
Denver by Westword Magazine in 2002. She has
taught at the Sizzlin' Salsa weekend in Las Vegas, Laughlin, on the Carnival
Cruise Ship Spirit, and at the World Salsa
Congress in Puerto Rico and performed in both the West Coast Salsa Congress in LA
and the World Salsa Congress in Puerto Rico with Salsa Caliente, the
group she co-directed for eight years. She retired this year from the
group.
